IAV invited Universal Motor Corporation GmbH to its booth to present the current stage of development of the FPLG. The booth was very well visited, especially during the trade visitor days. The discussion with high-ranked representatives of automotive manufacturers and suppliers went very successful. In distinct areas, further collaboration was arranged, underlining the importance of range extension technologies for the automotive industry.

Among others, Formula 1 Pilot Heinz-Harald Frentzen was greeted at the booth. The FPLG's technology was introduced to him by Bernd Kämmerer (CEO Universal Motor Corporation GmbH). The possible application of the FPLG were discussed in connection with Frentzen's hybrid racing activities. Another time, this shows the broad field of possible applications using FPLG technology. Ending his visit, HHF was invited to demonstrate his abilities with the remote-controlled racing-cars at the inductive energy-transmission-testtrack. Which he did impressively by clearly distancing the experienced colleagues of the IAV.
